Emerging Support for Community Garden Projects.
The Adult Skills Action Team, represented by Andrew Williams (Left), met with Joshua Projects and the Humansdorp Co-op at the Kouga Municipality to discuss assistance with community garden projects. All parties agreed to collaborate going forward, starting with a workshop to take place in the coming month.
In addition to focusing on improving access to formal education and skills development opportunities, the Adult Skills Action Team also supports numerous garden projects in the communities of the valley, helping to develop practical food production skills.
If you would like to find out more, or would like to assist the Adult Skills Action Team in their quest to support community garden projects and other skills development initiatives, please email Andrew Williams at info@srvc.co.za
