Community Health and Social Welfare Action Team Leader Shirley Kula celebrates as the Star Victim Support Centre is registered as an NPO. Shirley has been working tirelessly, working with partners at SAPS and Social Workers to address Gender Based Violence (GBV) in the valley.

The new NPO is established with six members from Nomathamsanqa and Valencia and will allow
Shirley and her team to better access resources to expand on their work in attending to cases of GBV and provide support to victims.
